On Monday, April 11th we will celebrate our senior baseball and softball players at the home game against Kirby!

Due to a scheduling conflict the Senior Vs Faculty game that was scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to Friday, April 29th at 1:30pm!

ATTENTION: Bus route change for Friday, April 8. Mr. Green's bus will dismiss at 1:30 pm, Friday, April 8. All other routes will run as scheduled. If you have any questions, please contact the elementary office at 870-874-2283 or the high school office at 870-874-2281. Thank you!

ATTENTION: AFTERNOON BUS ROUTE CHANGES FOR MONDAY, APRIL 4, 2022 On Monday, April 4th, Mrs. Paula’s AFTERNOON bus route will run early. Students on this route will be released from school at 1:30PM. All morning routes and the remaining afternoon routes for that day will run on the normal schedule. Join us next Friday, April 8th, 2022 as our Senior class takes on the faculty in a Senior vs Faculty basketball showdown!! The game will start at 1:30, admission will be $1 and the concession stand will be open! All students will be able to attend, and will get in free! Come out and support your favorite Senior or Faculty member!!!

Hornet baseball and Lady Hornet softball update!! The games scheduled for tomorrow against Nevada have been moved to Tuesday, 3/29/2022, at 4:30pm!! These games will still be played at home!

On Monday, March 14 during the regular school board meeting, the Blevins School Board voted to implement a four-day school week for the 2022-2023 school year. Over the past several months there have been many discussions, research and surveys between administrators, staff, students and guardians regarding a four-day school week. There are many positives that will become of this decision for the students, district and community. With any change comes apprehension and concerns but we will work together to make this change successful!!

Due to possible winter weather this evening, archery practice is cancelled.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!!! Today’s senior is Donavon Langston! He has been accepted to the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ! He will leave for Phoenix to begin his school in June!

The Blevins School District is in a soft lockdown. We were made aware of a concern in the surrounding area and out of an abundance of caution the decision was made to go into a soft lockdown. Staff and students are still moving around within the school and classes are continuing as planned. However, we have heightened our security awareness by locking all exterior and interior doors. We are asking that all visitors call the building office for instructions on gaining entry into the building. Again, we are being extremely cautious and if you have any questions please reach out to your building principal.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!!! Today’s senior is Joshua Johnson. He will attend the Arkansas Elite Welding Academy this fall. After completion of the welding academy he plans to be a pipeline welder.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!!!!! Today’s Senior Spotlight is Ana Morales. Ana will attend Henderson State University in the fall, and plans to major in Pre-Law. After Henderson she wants to attend Law School and go on to be a Family Lawyer!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!!!! Today’s senior spotlight is Trinity Rodgers! Trinity is graduating as a junior. After graduation, Trinity will attend the University of Central Arkansas and major in education to become an English teacher!

ATTENTION: SCHOOL UPDATE FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2022: Due to the uncertainty of the weather conditions, the Blevins School District will operate on a delayed start. School will begin at 10:00AM. If necessary, conditions will be reassessed tomorrow morning by 7:00AM.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!!!!! Emily Hill! Emily will be attending The University of the Ozarks, in Clarksville, AR, in the fall! Emily plans to major in education, and become a Special Education teacher.
